CommunityMarch Madness Arrives in Kansas City: Big 12 Basketball Tournament Schedule
March Madness energy is back in Kansas City as the Big 12 Conference Basketball Tournaments return to the T-Mobile Center. Every year this event brings thousands of fans downtown, filling the Kansas City Power & Light District with school colors, watch parties, and nonstop basketball.This year’s tournament has an exciting twist. Fans will see the debut of a state-of-the-art LED glass basketball court, the first time this technology will be used in official competition in the United States. The interactive floor can display graphics and animations while also improving visibility and safety for players.

🏀 Big 12 Women’s Basketball Tournament
March 4 – March 8 (or March 9)Location: T-Mobile Center, Kansas City
The women’s tournament tips off the week of March Madness in Kansas City and runs through the weekend.

- Wednesday, March 4 – First Round
- Thursday, March 5 – Second Round
- Friday, March 6 – Quarterfinals
- Saturday, March 7 – Semifinals
- Sunday, March 8 – Championship Game
(May move to Monday, March 9 if BYU reaches the final.)
🏀 Big 12 Men’s Basketball Tournament
March 10 – March 14Location: T-Mobile Center, Kansas City
Sixteen teams will compete for the Big 12 title and an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
