O’Malley’s St. Patrick’s Celebration – Weston, MO

Just a short drive north of Kansas City, the historic O’Malley’s 1842 Pub in Weston hosts one of the region’s most unique St. Patrick’s celebrations. The festivities take place inside the pub’s famous underground cellars and begin on Saturday, March 14, with live music and performances from artists including Bob Reeder.
The celebration continues throughout the weekend and culminates on St. Patrick’s Day, Tuesday, March 17, when the pub opens for a full day of Irish festivities. Guests can enjoy live Irish music, Appalachian Irish dancers, roaming bagpipers, festive cocktails, and plenty of Guinness in a truly one-of-a-kind setting.
Martin City St. Patrick’s Parade

Another local favorite, this parade travels along 135th Street and brings a festive atmosphere to South Kansas City with floats, music, and community groups.
Kansas City St. Patrick’s Day Parade – Westport

The largest celebration in the metro, this iconic parade starts at Linwood and Broadway and continues through Midtown toward Westport. Thousands gather along the route to watch colorful floats, marching bands, Irish dancers, and community groups celebrating the holiday.

After the parades, the celebration continues across Kansas City. Westport becomes one of the biggest St. Patrick’s Day party destinations in the city, with live music, beer gardens, festive food, and entertainment throughout the historic district.
