Trezo Mare: A Restaurant That Shares the Success

There are many great restaurants in Kansas City, but every once in a while you come across one that stands out for more than just the food. One of our absolute favorites in the Northland is Trezo Mare, and recently they gave us one more reason to love them.

On March 6th, Trezo Mare celebrated a profit-sharing day, where 28 hourly team members shared in the success of the restaurant alongside managers and chefs. That kind of leadership says a lot about who they are as a business.

When a restaurant takes care of its team, you can feel it the moment you walk through the door. The service feels genuine, the atmosphere is welcoming, and guests are treated like family. Troy and I have always experienced that every time we visit Trezo Mare.

Of course, the food is exceptional as well. Trezo Mare is known for its Italian-inspired cuisine, fresh seafood, hardwood-fired steaks, craft cocktails, and seasonal menus built around fresh ingredients. Whether you are enjoying a relaxed dinner with friends or celebrating a special occasion, it’s the kind of place that consistently delivers a memorable experience. 

And then there’s the patio.

Trezo Mare sits high in Briarcliff Village with a beautiful view overlooking the Kansas City skyline. It is, without question, one of my favorite patios in the Northland. When the weather is nice, you will almost certainly find me out there enjoying the view with good food and good company. Spring, summer, and fall, it’s hard to beat.

Supporting local businesses that take care of their people matters. Trezo Mare’s decision to share in their success with their team is just one more reason they continue to be such a special part of the Kansas City dining scene.
